For those of you who may be be using a controller (gamepad) or are thinking about it, here is some information on how it works and button functions beyond what is given to you in your options menu under the "Gamepad Controls" tab.
I wanted to be able to remap my Nacon PS4 Controller, wired connected to my PC and use the remapped Version in ARK, since I think the default config is not "good" and unplayable if you don't have a keyboard nearby.
Instead of an Interaction Wheel, Mobile features an Interaction Menu in which players can set options such as Follow Distance, Aggression Level, Wandering, setting a structure to locked or unlocked, etc.
In addition to the simple mapping of buttons and axes of a physical game controller to keyboard and mouse input, ControllerBuddy also supports feeding input commands to a virtual joystick device (vJoy / uinput).
21 cze 2023 · ARK's settings shows a button mapping for controllers but when i try to play with mine (PS5 DualSense) the game doesn't responds. I also tried running it over Steam as a non-steam game but that doesn't help either.
