Said that the updates that were sent to it didn't work and asked me about the lights and what was blinking on my modem. He also asked if i was having problems with my internet service (I'm not). He wanted me to connect my computer to their website. I hung up.

  4. Today I received a call from someone claiming to be an Xfinity engineer. Said my modem was older, and that they were having trouble accessing it remotely, and needed my help getting access. I knew it was a scam (not the least reason being my modem is less than two months old), but I wanted to warn anyone else who gets a similar call.
