Students accepted into the pre-PA status are assigned a level (1 – 3) according to the extent to which they have completed prerequisite courses necessary to start the graduate Physician Assistant program. Levels 4 and 5 are the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program.
All prerequisites must be completed at a regionally accredited college or university in the United States. AP, IB, CLEP, or other test credits are not accepted for prerequisites. It is recommended that prerequisites be completed within the last seven years.

Minimum cumulative PAS prerequisite GPA (Cumulative GPA of all prerequisite courses below) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Minimum grade of “C” in all prerequisite courses. 300 hours of healthcare clinical experience is required.
