17 lis 2022 · The result of this bug may have come from anyone messing around with their controller settings in Steam>settings>controller> general controller settings. and changing button configuration and accidentally saving it to an xbox 1 controller.
Hi all, I'm trying to play CoD4 Modern Warfare on PC (yeah, I'm late to the party) with a controller, but the game doesn't seem to recognize it. Other games recognize it just fine without any config to be made, but on MW I can't even set the keys manually to my controller.
The single player mode works perfectly, but when I try to run COD4 Multiplayer it crashes on startup. Windows then shows the following error message: iw3mp.exe has stopped working.

28 gru 2019 · you playing with steam or cd install? first look in your game options if PB is enable and allow downloads also. When I reinstalled PB was disable by default for me. Other option if not working is replacing the PB folder (apparently its most common with steam)

26 wrz 2021 · If you're having trouble getting Steam to detect your PS5 controller, try enrolling in Steam's latest beta, which adds initial PS5 controller support. From your Steam client, open Steam > Settings > Account and enroll in the latest beta. Then return to Controller Settings.
