Basically I want a control board and software setup that will work with either USB or Ethernet (basically not parallel port). At this stage I am looking into Mach 4, planetCNC and UCCNC. The trouble I am having is knowing where these setups are at in 2021.
15 sty 2024 · Mach4 has a better UI with convenient screens for g code editing and probing. Mach4 has a simulation plugin, Mach3 doesn’t. Mach4 has more features for advanced users, including macro-B and PLC programming. It also has a better scripting language.
anyone got an inside track to any cnczone admins? I've been having problems for a while with the site being sloooooooooooow - taking anywhere from 30 secs to several minutes to bring up each page. Quite often it just times out altogether.

8 cze 2012 · I have located one that has been converted to a MachMotion controller and was wondering if anyone could give me an unbiased review of the system. Obviously the current owner thinks it is great. It was originally a CNC knee mill and the owner did a refit with the MachMotion Mach3 with AC Servos.
9 kwi 2024 · I need to get my Mach3 installation working better, I often need to restart it to get it to behave and I am not confident that it's set up properly. I really want to design and make things rather than indulge myself in the nitty gritty of programming software. Is there anyone out there who I could pay to come to my home and solve all my problems?
