For your chewing enjoyment I have a few classic gums: Black Jack, Clove and Beemans plus Clark’s Teaberry. First is my favorite gum of all time: Clark’s Teaberry. Teaberry is a regional name for wintergreen (also known as Canada tea, which may explain the name of Canada mints which are also wintergreen flavored).

1 kwi 2022 · Teaberry Gum was originally created in 1900 but did not become popular until the 1960s. The D.L. Clark Company of Pittsburgh bought the patent to make the gum from Charles Burke. Charles has been experimenting with making the gum and had been flavoring it like his favorite wintergreen flavor.
2 lut 2007 · Clarks Teaberry is one of those gums that in spite of its size is mixed with an unbelievable taste and seems as though it is expanding not only in size but in flavor by the bite. Something that other gums are highly lacking in the sugar packed pieces of today.
The Clark Brothers Chewing Gum Company made Teaberry and Tendermint gum. However, by 1931, the candy bar business had grown so large that Clark decided to specialize exclusively in candy bars and the Clark Brothers Chewing Gum Company was sold and renamed the Clark Gum Company.
