  1. Grade Point Averages (GPA) GPA are indicators of a student's academic performance. It includes failed courses, excludes operational grades and is weighted by the credit units for each course taken. The Semester GPA (SGPA) is calculated for all courses taken in one semester.

  2. It is a student's record includes available course grades and/or award classification approved by the College/School Deans. Other than a complimentary copy of the academic transcript will be issued to students who have completed a degree/programme, students may apply for a copy with fees.

  3. Course grades are approved by Assessment Panels set up by the teaching academic unit. Approved grades will then be sent to the Academic Regulations and Records Office for updating in the student's academic record. No grade is official until it is published in the student's grade record in AIMS.
