Passes & Permits. To visit a state park you will need a one-day or annual Discover Pass most days of the year. Depending on what kind of activity you are planning, you may also need a permit, reservation or to pay a fee.

Westport Light State Park is a 560-acre day use park with 1,215 feet of shoreline, making it a popular destination for surfing, beach exploration, saltwater fishing, crabbing and clamming. The park is within minutes of the City of Westport and its marina, boat launch, maritime history museum and other attractions.
If you don't have a Discover Pass (at the time of this writing $30/year to visit as many Washington State Parks as you care to), there were two parking spots marked for those visiting for 15 minutes or less; they're not adjacent to each other, one is to the left/southwest of the main parking lot.
