Cigar Review: Nub Size: 3.75 x 58 Wrapper: Connecticut Binder: Nicaragua Filler: Nicaragua Strength: Mild-Medium. The Look: Short and stout is the two words that come to mind. Due to the small size of the cigar, the 58 ring looks bigger that on a full size smoked.

Depends a bit on the cigar. The earliest part of most cigars isn't as flavorful as the middle, but then you get different, subtle flavors and can ease into a smoke. Smoking also changes the cigar, so Nub might just be compressing the entire cigar experience.
