1 wrz 2017 · I had one of my Chrome windows always on top while the other behaved as usual. None of workarounds mentioned here helped to cure the problematic window. Then I closed it with Alt+F4 , switched to the second unaffected Chrome window and pressed Ctrl+Shift+T to reoped all just closed tabs.

8 sie 2016 · On one machine, it was resolved by setting the Hangouts application in Chrome to not be "Always on Top". On another machine, it was resolved by simply unpinning one of the applications from the taskbar.
15 cze 2021 · Also, make sure you have enabled "Show hidden files and folders" in folder options. Now rename the "Chrome" Folder inside the Google folder to "Chrome.old". Then open Google Chrome and see if that fixed the issue. If it has you can delete the Google.old folder as a new Chrome folder should be automatically created.
