Christmas Valley Sand Dunes. This dune complex is 8,900 acres open to OHV use. Approach the dunes on designated trails until you reach the bare sand dunes. These are the largest “living” inland dunes in the Pacific Northwest. Living means that they are constantly changing and moving due to the wind and shifting sands.
