Chifa was the most expensive meal I have ever had in Philly. With that said, it was, unlike other restaurants I have been to this town, worth every penny. Everything, including the service, food, and expertly crafted cocktails, was perfect, and if you're looking for a special meal, this is one of the best places to go.
After starting with amazingly yummy warm cheese rolls we got 3 courses of 3 plates each: mizuna salad, peruvian ceviche and tuna sashimi; chicken wontons, duck tacos and pork belly bao buns (tofu for me); chifachicken (which could count as 3 on it's own there's so much meat... juicy tender meat...) and a tamale.

This is an upscale restaurant with a cool vibe to it and definitely worth a trip here for the food. No need to come here just for beers, there are plenty of other places in the area to hit. Dec 24, 2012. Reviewed by shivtim from Georgia.
