27 gru 2017 · Picking up my new 2018 crew cab 4x4 3500hd WT Duramax with a 9.5' utility body on it tomorrow! I just read that Ford and Dodge derate their cab & chassis's quite a bit, but Chevy doesn't. So that makes me wonder what other differences I can expect from the 1ton Duramax pickups?

Midrails -- determined by what cab will be used. Rear section -- determined by what box will be used. 2023 LZO CC std box 4x4.
9 sie 2006 · I'm assuming that the bed on a dually adds the extra 2.2" of width compared to the chassis cab with GTY axle. So compared to a 3500 dually (11,400 GVWR), the chassis cab is a way of getting a higher 12,000 GVWR in a narrower width (or the same width with the GTY option).

18 sie 2014 · I'm going to order a 3500 dually 4x4 long box crew cab Laramie, with 3.73 rear and the Aisin tranny. I will eventually put a service body on the truck. Anyone really know the differences between the Chassis Cab and the standard 3500?
12 gru 2011 · Ok new plan: Buy cab and chassis truck, and also a 2wd 1500 that I could get from the same company for very cheap (cheap is the plan). What could I do about the trans going in? Could I use the cab off of the 3500 that would allow the transmission to fit?
