1 maj 2024 · All vehicles entering a Town-controlled parking facility, using a beach pass, must display the Town-issued beach pass. A beach pass is a sticker that is permanently affixed to the motor vehicle to be parked at the parking facility located at the Town Beaches.

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s East Beach Sand Trail - Beach and Sand Trail Driving. During the summer beach season daytime off-road driving is limited to the RIDEM East Beach Sand Trail in Charlestown, RI, which is only accessible through the RIDEM East Beach Parks and Recreation camp site.
It is now our favorite beach in RI for it's beauty, serenity and the majestic waves breaking on the shore line. Misquamicut beach water was rough with significant amount of red seaweed and painful rocks in the water. Charlestown beach water was crystal clear and is a family friend, quieter beach.
Charlestown Beach is one of the best in RI. There is a town beach and a State Beach and the breachway separates those two beaches from another much quieter beach, East Beach. I have spent many months visiting Charlestown and vacationed in a cabin on Nutmeg Lane just a short walk from the town beach.
