5 kwi 2020 · A Picture is a Shape. A Shape returns its width as Points (Shape.Width). A Range can be set to a cell like Worksheet.Range["A1"]. From a Range you can get the width in Characters (Range.ColumnWidth) or in Points (Range.Width). But you can only set the width of a Range in Characters (Range.ColumnWidth).

20 lip 2010 · Set a uniform rowHeight, then use the Width property (returns column size in points) and divide RowHeight by it to get a unit-less height/width ratio. Make the new ColumnWidth that times the original ColumnWidth to make make everything square.

Column width is measured in points, and whilst you can - in theory - convert points to pixels, Excel won't listen very precisely when you assign them. They also seem to vary somewhat from monitor to monitor. Basically, points are fractions of inches, pixels are dots on the screen.
