The Cajun Music and Food Festival returns for the 37th year on July 20, 2024. The indoor festival is held at the Burton Complex in South Lake Charles on the corner of Gauthier Road and Gulf Hwy. Get ready for great authentic Cajun food and music from 9 AM to 10 PM Groove all day and into the night to the sounds of Jackie Callier & Ivy Dugas
The Cajun French Music Association a non-profit organization comprised of Cajuns and non-Cajuns whose purpose is to promote and preserve, not only Cajun music, but also various aspects of the Acadian Heritage. The CFMA was founded in Basile, Louisiana in November of 1984 with Harry LaFleur of Eunice as its founder.
Our annual Cajun Music and Food Festival, held on the third weekend of July, is a roaring success and has made the “Top Twenty Events list of the Southwest Louisiana Tourism Society”. We also hold the “Miss Cajun Music Pageant” a week prior to our festival.
