I am learning the CDO tool which I find very interesting, I have the following questions, I hope can help me to resolve it. to convert my file NetCDF to GRIB resulted as follows: root@ubuntu:/home/toshiba/MM5V3/cdo-1.5.6.1# cdo -f grb copy MMOUT_DOMAIN1.nc MMOUT_DOMAIN1.grb
I have problems adjusting the grid of a netCDF file generated with ArcGIS. The file is in T63: 192 x 96, xincr=1.875. The grid differs from the standard t63grid in respect to xfirst and the yvals. Therefore I generated "mygrid" and did "cdo setgrid, mygrid input.nc output.nc".
Actually your grid is not shifted. If you have a closer look to your grid, you can see that the first and last row and column are missing. That is happening because you were setting. If you set it back to on, you will see that you have your data.
I would like to remap or remap grid of netcdf files to get the usual lon lat degrees. The netcdf files have a rotated_pole:grid_mapping_name = "rotated_latitude_longitude" ; and I would like have the normal or standard grid system with lon & lat.
The Climate Data Operators (CDO) software is a collection of many operators for standard processing of climate and forecast model data. The operators include simple statistical and arithmetic functions, data selection and subsampling tools, and spatial interpolation.
