Currently there are many online CCTV lens calculators for web browsers. Such online tools can help to calculate lens focal length, field of view and even pixel density. Here is a modern lens calculator with 3D functions and more than 9000 cameras in the built-in database.
This lens calculator displays the viewing angle and the focal distance for CCTV lenses. The lens calculator is a basic guide and can be used when using any CCD sizes, such as 1/4 inch, 1/3 inch which are the typical CCD sizes used in the CCTV industry.
CCTV Lens Calculator can correctly calculate all possible camera positions not only the standard one. Calculate values of pixel density (spatial resolution) at specified distances for panoramic (fish-eye) cameras. Choose optimal camera resolution for any specific tasks.
