Back to last episode, Emily regains a vision: It was Emily herself killing Harlow earlier that night...with the same kitchen knife. The last episode is riddled with "the past has changed us" type of theme, and this fits perfectly into that narrative. Laurie was right, somewhere inside, Emily is also a killer. 9.
