Casa de Paz Orphanage in Baja Mexico. What an amazing day! It’s All About the Kids™ Foundation went south of the border into Mexico on January 6, 2014 for Three Kings Day at the Casa de Paz Orphanage. For the past 3 years, through the charity Santa Caus, It’s All About the Kids™ Foundation has been providing toys and other necessities.

Rancho de los Niños (formerly Casa de Paz) is an orphanage located in the Valle de Guadalupe, about 90 minutes from the San Diego border. The home is located on several acres of open land. They now have 85 children in their care.
All are children who have been orphaned or are there under the auspices of the Mexico Family welfare organization abbreviated as DIF. On any given day, the population of Casa de Paz can abruptly rise by 3 to 7 children when DIF unexpectedly brings them to the orphanage.
Each time we head south, cross the U.S. border and hit the uneven, dusty roads past Tijuana, we’re reminded of the greatest gift that awaits us – serving these children that await our arrival at the Casa De Paz orphanage in Ensenada.

But there is also a casa verde (green house) housing special needs children. They require 24-hour care and attention, provided by a rotating staff, including a psychiatrist.
