Casa de Paz is one of several houses joined by a common backyard/ farm, where friends and neighbors are encouraged to join in sowing peace and sharing the labor of love. Dedicated to selfless service, non-violence, and regeneration of the earth, this community brings light just where it is needed.

In order to serve their community, they sit in receptive silence at least two hours a day and they live with the people – laugh with them, cry with them, and eat with them.
Today, Casa de Paz provides visits and emotional support, shelter and meals, access to phones, WiFi, computers and transportation. Detention is a difficult time that tears families apart and creates a financial burden, so they have always offered their services free of cost.
