Carson Tahoe SPCA is a nonprofit organization that rescues stray cats and kittens in Carson City and outlying areas in Northern Nevada. They offer adoption, foster, volunteer and donation services for homeless felines.

It can accommodate 134 dogs, 104 cats, seven exotics, and will have two corrals for large animals in the near future. The new facility includes, adoption meet-and-greet areas, play areas and a spay/neuter clinic.
