16 mar 2010 · Three or more lanes can be created using the Carrera 'digital chicanes'. But there is no factory method to count laps in more than two lanes. This means a portion of your track can be more than two lanes, but the lap counting needs to be accomplished in a two lane section.

20 lip 2009 · My first track that I routed was a rally track and it had 14" diameter (or 7" radius)turns-no problems for 1/32 scale cars. My second track has a hair pin turn that's 16" diameter (or 8" radius)and the cars can go through it pretty fast with no guide binding issues.
For those that have the Carrera hairpin in your layout, how do you like it? Is it all good or does it have some downsides?
26 lis 2019 · Here is my current layout of Prairie Winds Raceway. All four horizontal straights have been lengthened by one full straight since this drawing was made. The 180-degree R1 curve in the middle is a Carrera hairpin curve. I am considering changing to the layout below.
