Formed in the beginning of 2000 by singer/DJ Carol C. and programmer U.F. Low, Si*Se bring together a wonderful mix of electronica, soul and latin rhythms. After being connected through a mutual friend, Carol C. and U.F. Low spent a few months getting acquainted and sharing musical ideas over the phone.
Carol C, the Singer: With a musical style the Los Angeles Times described as “edgier than Sade, but more accessible than Everything But The Girl”, Carol C helped her band Si*Sé gain the attention of David Byrne of Talking Heads back in 2001.

The main members of the band are Carol C (vocals, DJ) and Cliff Cristofaro (producer). Other members of the band include Ryan Farley (drums), Neil Ochoa (percussion) and Morgan Phillips (Bass). Jeannie Oliver was the viola player during the first two albums, but left the band in 2005.
