9 maj 2024 · The CARES Foundation provides grants to organizations in California’s Sacramento region that serve the needs of people living with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), prevent the transmission of HIV, and/or raise social awareness to end discrimination and stigma against those living with or at risk of contracting HIV.
The CARES Foundation grant will enable the Center to expand outreach to rural areas, distribute more than 50,000 condoms, educate primary care healthcare providers on biomedical HIV prevention strategies, and connect to ever-increasing numbers high-risk young people.
Supporting a compassionate community for people living with HIV. Encouraging innovative prevention, education, and outreach programs. Raising awareness to eliminate discrimination and stigma against those living with or at risk of contracting HIV.
THE REQUESTOR MUST COMPLETE A LETTER OF INQUIRY (LOI) FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A GRANT APPLICATION. NONE. GRANTS WILL SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO AREA THAT DIRECTLY SERVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH HIV/AIDS OR AID IN THE PREVENTION OF HIV/AIDS TRANSMISSION.
