23 lut 2021 · While shooting 0.264″ bullets in the 6.5 Carcano that needs 0.268 bullets just results in inaccuracy, shooting .308 diameter bullets in the 7.35mm Carcano that needs 0.300 diameter bullets is no bueno. Is the Carcano any good? I think there are pros and cons to the Carcano like any rifle.

You’re not gonna get SMLE or Mauser accuracy, but you’re literally paying a fraction of the cost. Plus you get the poor-man’s version of the satisfying en-bloc Garand ping, which is always sweet to hear.
5 cze 2024 · Are Carcano Rifles Accurate? The Carcano gets a bad rap for some reason, but when they were properly maintained and kept clean, they could certainly be quite accurate rifles. They wouldn’t have been in service for so long if that weren’t the case.
