26 lis 2022 · I have to disconnect several times the CANDI module in order for it to start working again (getting the clicks). The Tech2 works fine in appearance. I'm now torn between buying an alternative programming device (which one in that case?) or buying a cheap candi module from china.

6 paź 2015 · Here is the step-by-step instruction on how to do Teh2 candi interface self test. 1) Connect CANdi interface to the vehicle via 12 PIN ALDL connector. 2) Run and complete all GM tech 2 scanner stand-alone self-test. Disconnect CANdi interface when run Tech2 scan tool self test. 3) Run VCI self test. If the VCI self-test fails, replace VCI module.
Self Test 1: VCI. Self test 2: CANdi. Self test 3: Key pad. Self test 4: RS232 cable. How to do Tech 2 self test: Insert GM card into the card slot on Tech 2. Insert the self test adapter with the Tech2 main unit. Power on Tech2 scan tool. Go to the menu, and choose “F4 tool options”.
