29 kwi 2021 · Try to make sure you've downloaded a book that has a matching Audible audiobook. Books that have a matching audiobook will feature a headphones icon in the upper right corner of the book on the Kindle App.
You can find audiobooks in several ways. Any ebook with a “kindle unlimited” label and a pair of orange headphones next to it indicates that audio narration is included. You can do a broad filter to only show books with narration, and you can also filter an author or title to show audiobooks only.

I recently got the kindle unlimited subscription and found out that a few select books have an audio book with them when you rent out the book. Supposedly it's supposed to add it to your audible account when you rent the book but I haven't seen anything about it.
I have a couple of books that I borrowed that have the headphones for narration next to the kindle unlimited logo, but I can't figure out how to access the narration. When I try to activate it in the kindle app on my phone, I'm prompted to buy the audio.
