The One Year War (一年戦争, Ichinen Sensō?), also known as Zeonic War for Independence (ジオン独立戦争, Jion Dokuritsu Sensō?), was the first major conflict of the Universal Century timeline, fought between the Principality of Zeon and the Earth Federation from January 3, 0079 to January 1, 0080.
It's a playstation 2 emulator for PC. I have beaten both 3 times, I prefer Gundam VS Zeta gundam to F VS Z, though I prefer the gameplay of encounters in space and one year war overall to them. It's not too expensive, has great aiming and flying, has good variety, and covers just about every significant action scene in Mobile suit gundam.

To the best of my knowledge and ability, these are all the mobile suits *actually used* by the Earth Federation during the One Year War: 1 As a pilot training unit, it never saw real combat during the One Year War. 2 The Prototype Gundam was heavily damaged during the attack on Side 7 and was subsequently salvaged for parts by the White Base crew.

So I put together a list of all the Gundam frames developed by the Federation during the One Year War and their (canon) fates. Feel free to correct any of the lore since I'm not certain of it myself. Here goes: RX-78-01 "Prototype" Gundam: Piloted by Lt. Kemp at the secret Federation facility at Side 7 when it was ambushed by a team of 6 Zaku IIs.
