26 wrz 2018 · I recently saw that the M6 Scout clone is now available by TPS Arms. For those that aren't familiar with the M6 Scout, it is a 22 LR over a .410 over and under survival rifle. I was wondering if anybody has one or has handled one? How is its construction and fit & finish? What are your impressions? It also comes with a 22 mag over a .410 version.
6 sie 2019 · So, Springfield Armory had a replica made in Czechoslovakia with 18-inch barrels and called it the M6 Scout. The M6 Scout could be had in either stainless or the original stamped steel and parkerized finish and offered the rifled barrel in the cheaper .22 LR as well as .22 Hornet.

24 lis 2012 · The M6 Scout has the advantage of being more compact and it weighs less than the Savage. The M6 Scout is about 4.7 lbs and my Savage 24C and 24K are in the 6.5lbs range. I believe that M6 Scout would be better suited as a pack gun for use when hiking/backpacking.
29 cze 2022 · The gun folded to a compact 15" and was robust and reliable enough for military issue until the 1970s. The first models were made by Ithaca, then Springfield Armory took over production.
30 sty 2023 · Springfield Armory produced their version of the M6 Scout Rifle from the late 1970s until March of 2008. It’s a real shame that they discontinued production because this was a great little combo gun. The SA version has 18½-inch barrels to keep it legal for anyone to purchase.
