The BCD-1 has a uniformly unbiased presentation across the frequency spectrum, which makes it a superb instrument for an audio reviewer, providing a true reference point for equipment evaluation. I've plugged the BCD-1 into four different systems and in all cases, the Bryston has acquitted itself admirably.
22 sty 2015 · #1. Hello again AudioKarma! This week, our music source at TARA Labs was in the form of a Bryston BCD-1. While fairly entry-level, this CD player definitely surpassed my expectations. The music was clean and transparent, with focused and engaging dynamics. However, I was a bit confused when I realized it did not support SACD format.
30 sty 2018 · I've owned my BCD 1 for 8 years, had one minor problem after 4 years, that Bryston fixed for free (20 year warranty) and it sounds brilliant and will put it up against any $20k CD player in a blind listening test for money.
