25 wrz 2006 · Find a hefty nut, as big as possible that fits the recess and you can get a real good fitting socket onto. Main spec is that it has a 10mm hole to fit over the projecting bit in the middle of your stud (tighter the better, but hand-moveable). You will also need a couple of hardened masonry nails (choose you thickness, but I sugest 3mm).
First thing I do when I buy a car is get rid of the locking wheel nuts/bolts. If someone wants to steal your wheels then they will steal them, locking nuts or not. Anyone with a cheap locking nut removal kit will have them off in seconds. Besides, nobody steals wheels anymore, it's just as easy to steal the whole car.
7 mar 2021 · Specifically just for wheel nuts the best solution is a breaker bar and then spin them on and off with whatever drill or driver you have to hand. They should always be finished off with a torque wrench, never with an impact wrench, air, battery or mains, as it is too easy to over tighten them.
