If one wants to dig deeper, one can begin to look into combo-morphs, where multiple gene pairings are being manipulated. There are also morphs out there being worked with whose genetics are not yet fully understood with “hidden genes” and other mysteries.
15 paź 2020 · What Are Ball Python Morphs? Ball Python morphs are defined as the unique physical appearance of a Ball Python snake that displays a specific color and pattern. Snake breeders create new morphs by isolating underlying genetic mutations naturally found in the wild.
2 mar 2023 · Thanks to the work of breeders, there are now more than one thousand types of ball python morphs. To produce morphs breeders selectively pair uniquely-colored and patterned pythons together. This isolates and strengthens the genes that cause those colors.
To ID your babies, you need to go through the steps of comparing each of the following features to the morphs that were present in the parents, and to a normal Ball Python (if no supers were involved in the pairing).
