Soak City is a water park at Kings Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio. Opening in 1989 as WaterWorks, the water park is included with the price of admission to Kings Island. It is owned and operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
Crocodile Dundee`s Boomerang Bay. Fast forward another five years to 2004, Kings Island introduces Crocodile Dundee`s Boomerang Bay, a new water park resort. Boomerang Bay encompassed all but four slides from the former Water Works. The four new water attraction were called: Tasmanian Typhoon, Coolangatta Racers, Jackeroo Landing and Kookabura Bay.

25 cze 2009 · Location: Huber Heights, OH. Posted June 26, 2009. My only problem with Boomerang Bay (and I had the same issue with Splashin' Safari) is that the slides always have huge lines. I'd rather not wait in an hour line to ride a water slide, but I also don't want to go to a water park on a cool day!

The water parks at Kings Island and Carowinds were also known as WaterWorks for a period of time before being renamed Boomerang Bay. In 2015, Kings Dominion announced that WaterWorks would undergo a major expansion and be renamed Soak City, a name that has been used for other Cedar Fair water parks.
