26 maj 2024 · Many people find Trainline a more user friendly platform to book tickets than the SNCF website. I use it to check my options and then book through the rail provider. On occasion I have got slightly cheaper tickets on Trainline.
6 years ago. Hello everyone. For mid-late October travel, so I need to pre-book/reserve tickets from Paris to Lyon (return) and Paris to Bordeaux (return) ahead of time? Or can I just turn up at the train station and buy the tickets there using my credit card and board the next train?
Tickets go on sale 3 months before travel, and the cheapest tickets can sell out quickly. You can get train times and costs, and make bookings, in English at http://www.tgv-europe.com/en but use Australia or Great Britain as the "Ticket collection country" on the first screen.
