22 lip 2023 · You will need to get a new three way connector hose that is specifically for a Z4. It connects to the radiator, engine pipe, and now up to the oil cooler. It is part number 11537526941 which I bought as an aftermarket part from FCP. They are about $100 from the dealer if you want to go with BMW part.

2 maj 2007 · Spec E30. Fluidyne can build you a custom radiator/oil cooler (one unit), though you may need to sort the plumbing yourself - not sure they sell a plug-play unit for an e46. Price is comparable to a good radiator and oil cooler upgrade. I recently had to replace the unit in my car.
9 lis 2009 · No. There is little evidence that oil cooler provide any benefit off the track. While there have been a few instances of non-oil cooler cars hitting limp mode, I don't think there a lot of evidence that even BMW's extra oil cooler would have prevented it.
