Blue Lagoon, located in Huntsville, Texas, is one of the state's most beloved scuba diving destinations. Nestled in the heart of Texas, this former limestone quarry offers divers a unique and serene underwater environment, making it an ideal spot for both beginners and experienced divers alike.
Get there about 10-30 minutes before the lagoon opens. There are limited picnic tables with shelters and the summer heat can get overwhelming. Reservations are not accepted so if you want to get in, get there early. I got there at 10:10am and was one of the last cars to get in.
