If you stand in the middle with legacy, blood burst aoe will often miss some of them. However, if you stand one south of the far northeast corner, blood burst should actually work pretty well if you don't have most of the codex abilities.
Blood burst (spell) does not make any abilities AoE. It only works on auto attacks (no basic used) if you just want to see the blood burst going off, use legacy combat. As for why you see it with wand, and not staff is because the auto attack speed of the weapons.
I believe I've seen the consensus is to use your highest barrage spell during slayer (Nechs, Dusties, etc), but I only have 91 mage at the moment. Is it worth to use divine mage potions to boost to ice barrage, or should I stick to ice burst? Or should I use non-ice, like smoke barrage? Thanks!

Blood Burst is a combat spell in the Ancient spellbook capable of healing the caster by 25% of the damage inflicted. Like all burst spells, Blood Burst hits up to 9 enemies within a 3x3 grid around the primary target. As with all Ancients, Desert Treasure must be completed to use this spell.
