Tanks are supplied with permanently mounted bronze trim valves with Teflon seats and stainless steel trim piping. All valves are labeled showing normal working position and function. Lifting lugs are permanently welded to the tank with eyes of approximately 2” diameter.
Description. The CHEMGUARD Vertical Pre-Piped Bladder Tank is a steel pressure vessel which stores foam concentrate contained within an elastomeric bladder. The concentrate is discharged from the tank by incoming water applying pressure to the bladder.

See sketches 1 and 2 for typical piping configurations. Tanks are pre-charged at 12 psi (83kPa). Before installing the tank, check the charge with an automotive tire gauge. If the tank charge is not at the desired psi, bleed off or fill to the psi required.
INSTALLATION. Upon receipt of the Chemguard Bladder Tank and before installation, check completely around the tank, trim valves and piping, etc. for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. Please read through this complete manual prior to starting any installation.
