14 kwi 2022 · Gel stains are thicker than oil and water based stains. They eliminate the need to be careful about the brush strokes, making them perfect for wood finishing. You should apply the gel-based stains with a rag for the best results.
19 lut 2019 · The best rule of thumb, for almost anything you are “reviving”, is to at least quickly run the sandpaper over the finish before applying the gel stain. Be sure to wipe down all dust before applying.
