Biology provides students a background that can be used for a variety of careers. Students majoring in Biology can go on to study in such health-related fields as Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Public Health. Other students choose to pursue a career in Environmental Law or Science.
Majors or prospective majors should also work with the biology advisory office to plan a program which will meet their career goals. The advisory office can furnish information on courses, curricula and careers available to majors and will facilitate the assignment of a faculty adviser.
