Tried multiple fixes like "clear origin cache", "verify game file integrity", "reinstall origin", "Update punkbuster' etc. Didn't work. I bought the game on steam with all the DLCs. So the EA help guy ultimately added another copy through origin and the issue was resolved.
Nie wiem dlaczego EA umyślnie nie dają pograć w starsze BF ale u mnie działają obie gry. Od dekady przechodzę regularnie raz w tygodniu BF3 i BF4. Moja specyfikacja sprzętowa to Win 11, Intel i7 12gen, RTX 3070TI, 32 GB Ramu, Dysk m2. Wszystko działa cacy. Zagrywam się aż miło.
after updating from windows 10 to 11 the game won't start, it's stuck on battlelog website forever. logout of battlelog and sign in through bf4's portal and switch to bf3. if that doesn't work, go to C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License and delete all .dlf files and restart pc.
I just got a new PC with Windows 11 and I can't install BF3 from the EA App. It tries to install DirectX (which shouldn't be needed since Win11 comes with built in DirectX 12) and fails. Anyone has had this problem? Any hint on how to solve it?
I had to manually Add BF3WebHelper.exe through an option called: Allow a program or feature through Windows Defender Firewall. The .exe is located in the BF3 install directory. Reply reply
