11 mar 2014 · A friend who owns a large tire store does recommend Amerseal But I have given up up on sealants & just keep plenty of plugs on hand. Much faster than having to remove a tire, break it down, repair tube then reverse the steps.
From the research I’ve done it looks like the HydroSeal 1500 is the best bang for the buck. Anything cheaper seemed to only fill a 1/4” hole and anything more was double the money. Fill them all with foam and never have to deal with such tedious things again. https://carlisletyrfil.com/.
23 sie 2024 · Slime is best for bead sealing or small punctures, for a big tractor tire I like super99's idea, I have seen it done. They also make boot cement that might work. To break the bead on the tractor I have used a high-lift jack and a couple of large planks.
6 sie 2013 · I bought a few 5 gallon buckets of Ultraseal this spring and am very happy with the results. I no-till into cornstalks and had all 4 tractor tires and 3 of my planter tires that had slow leaks. One of my front tractor tires had been "repaired" at the tire shop THREE times and still leaked.
