Thus, my question for the Sims 2 community: Which mods are, in your individual opinion, and for your particular gameplay style, essential? If you could only have three mods in the game, which ones would you choose, and why?
Just google "sims 2 work mods/autonomous mods/romance mods" or whatever you want and you can find great lists with descriptions. I've personally spent hours and hours combing for mods and have almost 500 at this point its hard to really recc any without reccing them all.
Essential Mods. There is no thread that has "just" essential mods to help with corruption that can happen in every ones game, so I thought I would put up this list. Feel free to add any that I missed and I will put them in this first post.

When your sims come home from the community lot, they won't travel back in time as in vanila game. Simblender - can teleport sims onto your lot, set family relationships, move sims in, make townies, give skill points, set career levels and more
While I do remember a few basic useful tools (SimPE, Clean Installer) there's many more mods I know or think were very important (Pescado's NoTownieRegen sticks in mind for some reason along with GunMan's camera mod). I'm a noob again. What mods would you recommend I put into a fresh game?
