13 cze 2010 · Waterfall is the best Physical Water type move for Floatzel, and has a 30% chance of flinching the opponent and so that will make up for Floatzel's frailty, plus it gets STAB. Ice Fang is for Grass coverage and a small chance of freezing the opponent, which again will make up for Floatzel's frailty.

13 wrz 2011 · Waterfall is Floatzel's main move, being a reliable STAB move with a good effect. Ice Fang is used to hit Grass- and Dragon-types harder than Waterfall. It won't do that much damage to Tangrowth, though. The third move depends on what you want Floatzel to hit.
But Floatzel are known for being speedy mixed attackers so you're literally using it for it's intended purpose with a moveset including Ice Beam. Ice Fang is likely better as even though Ice Beam is stronger Floatzel would get more mileage knowing moves that work off its higher Attack stat. No easy answer.

24 lip 2010 · Quick Attack: Stab plus priority, best when enemy is close to KO. Overall, Staraptor is very good and ranks among the top when it comes to Independent Sweepers, it's just amazing how strong it can be.
Waterfall is your best bet. This will provide STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) x 1,5. Also, Floatzel has the ability of Swift Swim, allowing it to move faster in rain.
