11 maj 2023 · In theory a tungsten guide rod should help a 43x reduce felt recoil and muzzle flip, making it less snappy. If it were an item one could buy and return with little or no cost for the return it might be worth it to try it.
18 lip 2009 · Steel guide rods are a harmless upgrade. Are they stronger, more reliable than stock? I've seen and heard of broken oem rods (albeit RARE), I have never heard of a single breakage of a steel rod--so decide for yourself.

24 sty 2021 · The springs I am testing on the Gen 5 G17 are ISMI 11,13 and 15lb. The Wolff are 10,11,12,13,14 and 15lb springs. Tungsten guide rods tend to wear and sometimes will break. They are heavier if you like more weight up front. I have used the tungsten guide rods in my Gen 3 pistols and they work fine.
