So probably just choose 2 ASI and get your Int to 20 that way, letting another char get Hags hair. Do make sure to get Dual Wielder as your 3rd feat though, because Staffs are disgustingly strong

It is definitely worth doing, and playing the rest Sorcerer, and imo it is the best caster build. Just make sure to get the utility spells, and such as your priority from the Wizard levels such as Misty step or shield, and focus Sorcerer slots purely on offence.
Haste+ quickened spell make you a complete nuke. One of my favorite builds is a cleric and white dragon sorcerer dip for heavy armor, con saves and armor of agathys. Then go abjuration 10. The arcane ward plus armor of agathys combo kills enemies who melee attack you.
