This makes bolts apply 5 points of poison damage, even more than super-poisoned projectiles. If used with the Zaryte Crossbow, one of the best ranged weapons in OSRS, this poison damage will be increased to 6.
It’s of course one of the best weapons to use for Nex or Sara. I also like speccing with it at Vorkath for the free 110 at the start of the fight. it's a general purpose crossbow, it's not bis, but it's still good for pvm.
With Ruby dragon Bolts since there is a chance for the bolts to proc and hit up to 110 damage on the boss, it is more efficient to use on the boss above 400 hp.
