I've found a couple basic diagrams online, but I'll be rescribing the panels and I'd like to have some official diagrams to go by. Does anyone have actual diagrams from Bell or kn...
The cockpit hatch is separate and can be depicted as removed or attached (open or closed). The kit also includes a decent looking XLR-11 rocket motor, but everything except the exhaust nozzle disappears inside the airframe when the fuselage halves come together.
19 gru 2009 · I was really amazed at the size of the kit and thought I would show some size comparison to other kits of the X-1. At the top of the pic is the Pegasus kit, under it is the 1/32 Revell offering, next is the Eduard 1/48 kit and at the bottom is the 12 Squared 1/72 scale X-1.

22 lip 2003 · The instructions are very good with clearly drawn assembly diagrams. All parts are numbered and paint call-outs clearly marked. I test fitted many of the parts to see what was in store when construction of the kit commenced, and found that the fit of the major components was very good.
17 paź 2022 · While this kit may not be considered up to some standards today, it is really an excellent kit for the money. There are some aftermarket parts available for this model, mainly improved cockpit components.
The X-1’s instrument panel is old-school, and the lack of automation in the cockpit meant that flying the rocket-powered aircraft was strictly a hands-on exercise for its pilot.
