Craftable costumes are considered free because they do not require Pearls to purchase, but do require in game time and resources to obtain. Craftable Costume Requirements:
The Karlstein Outfit is a Pearl Shop Outfit, as such its a great way to get Cron Stones. Since it's classed as a premium set, the Karlstein Weapons can also be crafted. There is an item that is required from daily quests but they're easy and quick to complete.

At the bottom part of that tab, you could see the detailed work information in which you could preview your costume to see its buff and below it, is its crafting materials that you need.
